LOST RIVER BARN aka Raw Talent Ranch

Welcome to the Lost River Barn,

A mountaintop retreat for those looking to take advantage of the outdoors or to get away to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Only two hours outside of the DC Metro, the countryside of the Lost River region is especially appealing to those who love the outdoors: hikers, cyclists, kayakers, fishing enthusiasts or anyone who just wants to get away from the city for a spell.

The Lost River Barn is in a meadow at 2,735 feet. The barn was built in the ’30’s and was at one time part of a 700 acre farm.

The Barn has five bedrooms with three and half baths plus a few beds in the loft area. Total sleeping accommodations are 16 beds, 3 full futons, and 2 single futons. Kitchen was fully remodeled in January 2023! Please check out the pics in the gallery.  The Barn also has a large 6 burner gas grill and a 36" Blackstone grill. 

The barn comes fully stocked with bed linens, towels, comforters, etc. A washer and dryer is also on the premises.

Come enjoy the beauty of the West Virginia mountains and watch the wildlife (deer, wild turkey, humming birds, and the occasional black bear) while sipping your favorite beverage on the deck. There’s no better way to unwind and relax.

Clean and well mannered dogs are welcome to come enjoy the barn with their people. No more than two dogs at a time please.
